Science and Business Publications Unit
This unit handles operations in the rapidly evolving Information and Communications business domains. We aim to produce, publish and market information resources for advanced academic, research and other tertiary training institutions covering:

  • BioSciences (Agriculture, Food, Health, Animal life, Environment, etc).

Products of the Publications Unit

2. E-books ©: F.a.C.T Publications unit has a unique electronic-books publishing initiative, covering selected topics of current academic interest globally. These textbooks will be exclusively published online (no hard copy printed unless by special arrangement). For each book, authorship will be solicited on per chapter basis, i.e. each chapter will be contributed by a team composed of the most qualified scientists in the particular discipline. E-conference facility©: F.a.C.T Biosciences Communications Unit coordinates efforts to promote and enhance publication and communication and exchange of scientific outputs generated by researchers, academicians and development practitioners globally, but most especially in developing countries. The electronic conferencing facility enables people to participate in a virtual scientific or business conference conducted entirely over the internet. This initiative aims to reduce or eliminate barriers that limit participation of people in developing countries. An e-conference eliminates the costs incurred towards travel tickets, hotel accommodation, visa procurement, medical cover, per diem, etc. E-conference themes are selected from key scientific, economics and other key livelihood domains. Agriculture and Foods Business Unit

Key business areas include production and marketing of crop seeds, vegetative planting materials, marketing of crop and livestock production technologies e.g. pesticides, fertilisers, nutrient supplements, equipments, drugs, etc. Seeds and planting materials handled include:

    • Flowers
    • Fruits, e.g. strawberry, grapes, apples, bananas
    • Vegetables
    • Yams and other root and tuber crops
